In 2018, IMPACT Personal Safety of Colorado served more than 200 people in our Basic, Advanced and Weapons courses, the EMPOWERED Family Workshop and our EMPOWERED Workplace program. IMPACT’s staff taught adults, families, teens, children, venerated aged populations, and incarcerated individuals in the federal prison system.
IMPACT graduates are not only less likely to be assaulted, but also less likely to violate others’ boundaries. Our students say it best:
This course exceeded all of my expectations. I feel 200% more powerful, physically and mentally, after taking this course. It was incredible to be able to experience such empowerment and growth within myself, surrounded by supportive staff and the amazing females in my class.
I have been so impacted by IMPACT that I have told at least 20 people about the course and encouraged them to take it. It is SO worth the cost. Definitely will be back for the advanced course! -2018 Women’s Basics graduate
In 2019, our goal is to serve more than 500 people and re-establish our scholarship program. Thanks to our generous supporters, we are on our way to reach this goal.
For success in the next year, IMPACT needs your help in three critical areas.
1.100 donors funding our Executive Director position at $10/month
Funding our Executive Director gives her more time to advance IMPACT’s mission in Colorado by connecting with clients, community groups and other wonderful service organizations.
2. 50 donors funding our Program Coordinator position at $8/month
Donations to our Program Coordinator position will help IMPACT serve at least 500 people in 2019. Funding this staff member provides much-needed support for prospective students, business clients and IMPACT instructors.
3. 15 donors funding our scholarship program at $29/month
This gift helps IMPACT fully realize its mission to serve ALL people who wish to take our courses. Many trauma survivors cannot afford the $350 basic course fee. Your scholarship-level gift makes IMPACT courses accessible for people in financial need. Your gift will directly pay our instructors, required insurance, and room rental.
*Don’t forget about stock donations and company matching for your year end gift.
Your support changes lives.
With these donations, YOU give the gift of empowerment to those who want and need it. You can help spread the good work of IMPACT and reduce violence in our communities.
IMPACT Personal Safety of Colorado is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and, as allowable by the IRS, your donation is tax deductible.
