Laura has been involved with IMPACT since 2013. She started as a student, then a volunteer and in 2015 became the Program Coordinator. She is now the lead class assistant. We are very grateful to Laura for all her hard work to help make IMPACT run smoothly.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
If I could learn to do something really well it would be to play the fiddle. I love its soulful and spirited sound.
What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
At age 13, I would’ve liked to tell myself to not care so much about what other people thought of me.
What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
My favorite indoor activity is crafting (crocheting, card-making, etc.) and my favorite outdoor activity is gardening.
What three traits define you?
The three traits that define me are: compassionate, patient, easy-going.
What is something you learned in the last year?
In the past year I have learned that learning is a life-long venture and that I don’t have to know everything about a subject before practicing it.
